A HUGE shout of THANK YOU to all who helped at Verizon this past week! Our stands were open for the last 4 days consecutively in very hot weather for long hours. Whew!!! We had top sales on Wednesday and Thursday too!!! We were hoppin’!

 

Thank you to all who have taken the TIPS training online in time to help us staff for this week and for all who came to help out in the kitchen. We wouldn’t have anything to sell if someone wasn’t there to prepare it. Thank you to the students who kept our ice filled, our errands run and the VIP meals prepped and delivered too! We have some wonderful student workers!

 

A very special thank you to those who stepped up to be managers of the stands! From NFHS, we had Judy Lutz (and Garrett too!) and Shannon Nash working closely with FMHS’s Theresa Parker and Chris Krieger. Think about it… we need a minimum of 2 at a time each concert and there are 5 names listed. They put in a lot of hours over the past 4 days and we appreciate all that they did to keep things running. When you see any of them, please say thank you.

 

An equally big thank you to parents who no longer have children in band who came to work these past few days! They are proof that once you are a band parent, you are always a band parent – it truly IS a family! Thank you!

 

The Verizon “push” is almost over, but we still have more concerts (including 2 next weekend) over the next few months to work. There are 4 in August, 3 in September and 1 in October still on the schedule. TIPS training is still available online and there is an ‘in-person’ training at Verizon on August 4^th.
